Terry Sue Ahr, 61, dies

Terry Sue Ahr, 61, of Garrett, Indiana, died on Wednesday, July 5, 2006, at her home.  She was an assistant professor in the nursing program at IVY Tech, a CPR instructor with the American Heart Association, and a member of the Indiana University Alumni Association. 

Surviving are her husband, Jerry Ahr; two sons and daughters-in-law, Doug and Valerie Ahr or Fort Wayne and Joe and Ashley Ahr of Mundeliein, Illinois; and a sister and brother-in-law, Lynda and Bob Combs of Loogootee.  Preceding her in death were her parents, Melvin and Virginia Abel.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 8, at the D.O. McComb & Sons Maplewood Park Funeral Home, 4017 Maplecrest Road, Fort Wayne, with the Rev. Richard Hartman officiating.  Burial will be at Truelove Methodist Cemetery, Loogootee.  Calling is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
