William H. Anderson Sr., 67, dies

William Howard "Bill" Anderson Sr., 67, of Shelbyville died Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at his home.

Born January 15, 1941, in Greenfield, Indiana, he was the son of James W. and Lucille (Caldwell) Anderson.  He married Barbara Chapman on November 10, 1961, and she survives.

Other survivors include his sons, Bill Anderson Jr. of Shelbyville and James Anderson of Plainfield; daughter, Theresa Anderson of Indianapolis; half brother, Kim Anderson of Shelbyville; and grandchildren, Ashley, Robert, Andrew and Veronica.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Anderson.  Mr. Anderson was a construction heavy-equipment operator.  He was a U.S. Army veteran.  Mr. Anderson had an interest in standardbred racing horses.
