Jack A. Dever, 72, father of Indiana trainer/driver Randy Dever, died Thursday, March 28, 2002. The Elwood native was a Korean War Army veteran and retired from Cabot Corp. in Kokomo, Indiana. Surviving are wife, Janis; children, Randy of Converse, and Lisa Tentler and Mike, both of Windfall; and siblings, Mack, Frankton; Kent, Alabama; Berry Jo Foley, Elwood; and Coleen Sallee and Danny, both of Arizona. Randy Dever and his wife, Linda, have 2 children: Jennifer and Jeff. Services were held Tuesday, April 2 at Windfall Christian Church. Burial was at Brookside Cemetery.
