Jack S. Gray, Sr. (1927 - 2003)
Jack S. Gray, Sr., 76, of Lebanon, Kentucky passed away
early Sunday morning, January 19, 2003. Mr. Gray was a retired real
estate broker and auctioneer. He was also an owner, trainer, and driver of
Standardbred horses. His wife, Joyce Newland Gray, survives. The
funeral was held in Kentucky on Tuesday, January 21st at Bosley Funeral Home.
Mr. Gray was the father of a large family of children, with many involved his
harness racing. His son Jack Gray, Jr. continues to train horses on
his farm near Harrodsburg, Kentucky, where he and his wife, Martha, reside.
His sister, Peggy Grant, assists him at his stable. His younger son, Steven, also trains a stable of horses. He and his wife, Julie, base
their stable of horses at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis,
