Note: Vivian almost always
accompanied Doug when he raced his horses in Indiana on the ISFC. Our thoughts and prayers go
out to Doug, Jan, and the entire family.
She was a super nice lady who always wore a smile.
She was born on Jan. 12, 1942 in Piqua, daughter of the late Roger L. and Betty
J. (Manning) Niesley. Vivian formerly lived in Pleasant Hill and then, along
with her husband, Jan, relocated to Sarasota, Fla. and has spent the last
several years in Troy.
Vivian was a 1960 graduate of Newton Schools. She married Jan D. Hunt, who
survives, on June 12, 1960 in Pleasant Hill. She was employed by the Troy
Eagles.
When you think of Vivian, you think of horses; Vivian loved horses. She helped
her family, who races horses, clean and groom and helped out in many ways to
provide for their care. She was a member of the Miami County Horseman's
Association and Indiana Horseman's Association. She had a special love and
fondness for two horses in particular; Stars Mission and Lady.
Family was important to Vivian. She enjoyed her kids, grandkids, and everyone in
between. Vivian will be missed and remembered by her husband of over 46 years,
Jan
