Mahlon C. Marshall, 81
Mahlon C. Marshall, 81, of Willow Branch, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2002, at Regency Place Healthcare Center in Greenfield, Indiana. Mr. Marshall had owned and trained Standardbred horses for many years. Racing in the early years of Hoosier Park, Hoosier Skywalker was one of his noted performers. Mr. Marshall was an avid fan and participant in Indiana Harness Racing for many years, stemming back to the days when harness racing was an attraction at the Anderson Free Fair in Anderson, Indiana. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Dorothy (Isaacs) Marshall; three daughters, Linda Parks, Brenda (husband, Greg) Troy, and Judy (husband, Don) Jordan; a brother, Robert Marshall; two sisters, Fayola Leonard and Josephine Kostuck; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many, many friends. Services were conducted at the Condo & Son Funeral Home in Wilkinson, Indiana. He was buried in Gravel Lawn Cemetery in Fortville, Indiana. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.
