John W. Wilkin of VanWert, Ohio, passed away at 10:06 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2003, at the Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Mr. Wilkin owned and trained horses for over 40 years, racing in Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan.  He enjoyed racing at the county fairs.  In 2002, he raced Bold Barr, Bold Baker, and Frisk To Force on the Indiana Sired Fair Circuit (ISFC).  He will be greatly missed by the racing community.  The funeral was held on Saturday, April 19th at the Cowan Funeral Home in VanWert, Ohio.  Please keep the family of John Wilkin in your thoughts and prayers.  Cards may be sent to the family at: 3978 Middle Point Wetsel Road, Middle Point, OH  45863
