ATTENTION HORSEMEN: PURSE INFORMATION

 

The Bookkeeper's Office is located on track level across from the tote board behind Mutuel Teller window 122.  This window will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.  Purse checks are available 72 hours after each race program.  The phone number is (765) 642-7223, ext. 1027.

 

PURSE DISTRIBUTION

 

US Citizens must complete a W-9 Tax Form.  If you completed a W-9 Tax Form last year, and we have it on file, you do not need to complete another one, unless something has changed (i.e.) address, partnership, federal tax ID#.

 

Foreign Horsemen must complete a Form 4224 each year.

 

Drivers must fill out a Drivers Only Purse Request Form, along with a W-9 Tax Form.

 

Horsemen must fill out a Check Request Form, or contact the Bookkeeper at extension 1027 with your request, each time you want to draw money out of your account.  All requests must be in at least 24 hours before the pick up day.  No requests will be taken after 5:00 p.m. for pick up the next day.

 

All forms will be available in the Racing Office and the Horsemen's Bookkeeping Office.

 

NO CHECK(S) WILL BE RELEASED WITHOUT ALL OF THE NECESSARY FORMS.

 

PICK UP & MAILING SCHEDULE

 

Checks will be available for pick up Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  The location for picking up checks is the same as last year - below the Grandstand on track level behind Mutuel Teller Window 122.

 

Owner's checks will be available for pick up or mailing on the days listed below:

***ALL DRIVER CHECKS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PICK UP OR MAILING EVERY WEDNESDAY.

 

If you completed a Purse Request form to pick up a check, and you do not pick the check up, it will be held indefinitely.  They will not be mailed unless you contact the Horsemen's Bookkeeper with your new request.
