Commission Penalty Policy

Late For Salix (Lasix)

·         Trainers will be warned if late 15 minutes or less.  Repeat offenders may be fined.

·         Horse will be scratched and trainer may be fined if horse is more than 15 minutes late for Salix (Lasix).

Late To Paddock

·         Trainers whose horse is late 10 minutes or less will be warned for first (1^st) offense and fined for the second (2^nd) offense.

·         A horse more than 10 minutes late will be scratched.  Trainer may be fined.

Failure To Have Caretaker With Horse

·         A licensed caretaker must be present with the horse in the paddock until it is cleared by the blood gas administrator.

·         Trainers will be warned for the first (1^st) offense and fined for a second (2^nd) offense.
