INDIANA HORSE RACING COMMISSION

PADDOCK PROCEDURE

 

1.        The following persons are entitled admission to the paddock;

 

  1. Owners of horses competing on the date of the race.
  2. Trainers of horses competing on the date of the race.
  3. Drivers of horses competing on the date of the race.
  4. Grooms of horses competing on the date of the race.
  5. Officials, Commission, and track employees whose duties require their presence in the paddock.

 

2.        Drivers must report to the paddock 1/2 hour before post time for their first drive.  Drivers must remain in the paddock until his/her last drive.  However, the Paddock Judge, for good reason, may give written permission (permission slip) for a driver to leave the paddock.

 

3.        No children under the age of 16, whether licensed or not, are allowed in the paddock.

 

4.        All persons must cooperate with Racetrack Security regarding entering and leaving paddock.
