NOTE: Grandstand Paddock WILL NOT be used in 2007!

Grandstand Paddock Information & Procedures

1. The Grandstand Paddock can hold 3 races.
2. After the last warm-up, the first 3 races will be taken to the Grandstand Paddock by driver/trainer/groom.  The groom and equipment will be taken to the Grandstand Paddock by provided transportation.
3. Thereafter, horses will go from the Ship-In Paddock to the Grandstand Paddock after the finish of each race.  For example: 4th race goes to Grandstand Paddock after the 1st race is over, etc.
4. Horses will be taken back to the barns by the grooms after every race.  Grooms must wear helmets if horse is driven back to the barns.
5. No supplies will be kept at the Grandstand Paddock, such as overchecks and shoes.  They will be directed to the Ship-In Paddock.
6. T-shirts will be made available to the Trainers and Grooms for $2.00 each.  We are requesting "dress for success", meaning be presentable to the public.
7. The drivers lounge is available to all drivers.
8. A decision, due to inclement weather, not to use the Grandstand Paddock will be made by the horsemen's group and Indiana Downs.
9. All equipment changes, lost shoes, etc., will be made at the Ship-In Paddock.
