H.D. KIRK
(1887 - 1971)

"Hec" Kirk spent his adult life in Anderson, Indiana, immersed in harness racing.  He was a presiding judge, starter, announcer, auctioneer, breeder, owner, trainer, and driver.  His fame spread through appearances in movies such as April Love, Green Grass of Wyoming, and Home in Indiana.
