FRANK FOX

(1878 - 1931)

Frank Fox was a native of Pennsylvania, but resided most of his adult life in Indianapolis.  He was an owner of Standardbred horses and first vice president of the I.T.P.H.A.  However, he is acclaimed for starting the premier 2-year-old pacing event in the nation, The Fox Stake, held each year at the Indiana State Fair.
