Hoosier Horsemen and Horses Honored

Hoosier horsemen gathered at the Hilton North Hotel in Indianapolis Saturday evening, February 3 to honor the top performers on Indiana’s pari-mutuel and fair circuits for 2006. Divisional awards were given to the top points earners in Indiana Sires Stakes competition, and Pacer of the Year and Trotter of the Year titles were based on total earnings. The 2006 banquet was sponsored by the Indiana Standardbred Advisory Board, Indiana Standardbred Breed Development, and the current Indiana Standardbred horsemen's organization. The 2006 honorees are as follows:
