Florida tornados kill; CHHA plans to help
On Groundhog Day (February 2nd) tornados touched down in central Florida. The natural disasters caused destruction and death along their path. Weldon Stockwell, with the Christian Harness Horsemen's Association (CHHA), reports CHHA members in the path of those tornados.
While suffering damage of their own, CHHA members Tanya and Lee Belasky of Paisley, Florida, are organizing a fund raiser to help the huge number of victims in the area. According to event information, Vivian Farrington will be a part of the day's activities and share some of her experiences with Rambling Willie. Jack Levine of Parkland, Florida, also plans to take part. It may also be possible for CHHA's Eastern Representative, John Klark, and some other CHHA members in Florida to be there.
Money from the CHHA Emergency Fund will be given to support this effort. If you would like to contribute to the relief fund being sent to Florida, please contact: CHHA, 1846 Ross Rd., Sunbury, Ohio 43074. E-mail may be sent to Weldon Stockwell at: chha@copper.net.
