Win number 11,000 for Morgan comes
with offspring of Indiana product

Driver Tony Morgan made history on Thursday, March 1, 2007, as he became just the fifth driver in the sport to win 11,000 races in his career.  The feat came at Dover Downs when he guided Ranges Girl home first.

Ranges Girl is the offspring of Master Lavec and Range Design, by Spinning Ranger.  A successful competitor on the racetrack, Spinning Ranger stood as a stallion in the state of Indiana until his passing in April 2006.

Last year’s winningest driver in the sport with 1,004 victories, Morgan has been named Harness Tracks of America’s driver of the Year four times.  In 2006, Morgan set a Dover Downs record of 440 wins. Morgan joins Herve Filion, Cat Manzi, Dave Palone and Walter Case Jr., in the exclusive 11,000 club.
