for the Harness Horse Youth Foundation
The Harness Horse Youth Foundation, in collaboration with the Lexington Selected
Yearling Sale and Ohio Selected Jug Sales companies, is pleased to announce
several exciting opportunities to support the charitable organization.
Thanks to the generosity of Bow River Jewelry, Tel-Star Sulky Manufacturing,
Inc., and The Classy Horse, in addition to the graciousness of both sale
companies, three items will be auctioned off prior to the start of the premier
yearling sales. A Terminator Mach 1 race bike will sell at the Ohio Selected Jug
Sale. This bike features the Mach 1 arch with the Terminator shafts which
combines the excellence of Tel-Star's products. It will be offered for auction
Wednesday evening, September 20. Freight charges for delivery may be incurred by
the buyer.
Two items will be sold at the Lexington Selected Yearling Sale Saturday evening,
October 7. The first is a pendant/earring set from Bow River Jewelry. The
pendant is 14 karat yellow gold horse shoe slide set with 1/2 carat of diamonds
offering a removable 1/2 carat solitaire diamond slide on a domed omega
necklace. The necklace measures 16 inches in length. The earrings match the
pendant with 1/2 karat total weight.
The second item is a fully hand-cut mosaic entitled "Wild Horses Running." This
one-of-a-kind piece is 118.4 by 39.4 inches in dimension and weighs 190 pounds
unframed. The mosaic is mounted on mesh and made of 100 percent natural marble.
Due to the size of this piece, potential buyers should consider shipping options
as HHYF will be unable to make shipping arrangements for this item.
Both the jewelry and mosaic will be on display in the pavilion nightly prior to
the Lexington sale. Information about HHYF and its programs, including the
popular Harness Racing Youth League camp, will also be available. Payment for
all items may be in the form of check, cash, or Paypal and should be made at
time of purchase.
Established in 1976, the Harness Horse Youth Foundation addresses youth
education throughout the United States and Canada. A charitable organization,
the HHYF continues to enlarge and improve its programs. For more information
